Heartfelt message of gratitude from a Teacher

You have no idea what a joy and a pleasure it is to teach this young man!!!! I have been teaching for decades, and have never had a student like Rocky. He comes to lessons with a list of questions, and often will even text me questions between lessons. He just marched in his first parade, where he learned the music in one rehearsal- not to mention learning how to march with the combined schools’ band. He only started playing a year ago- on a poor quality instrument, and teaching himself from YouTube videos. I found a quality saxophone for almost nothing on the Goodwill auction site so I took a risk in buying it unseen- not a scratch on it- and he earned it by helping me with yard work. (I am 66 and can’t do everything  anymore). In 1 year, he learned enough skills to perform with a high school band. He is so proud of himself- as am I and his parents. This is all possible because of the Jared Foundation. You are making his dream come true- we are all so grateful.
